Job Description
JobEgy is looking for an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to deliver high-quality clinics for a supportive service in Ilkley.
The practice environment is clinician-friendly with clear protocols, structured supervision and reliable escalation to senior clinicians. Day-to-day workflow is kept efficient through strong admin triage, consistent templates, and a stable multidisciplinary team that shares workload appropriately.
Up to 2 days a week available with flexibility around session times.
ACP clinics focused on assessment, diagnosis and safe onward management.
Role Snapshot
• Primary care clinics managing undifferentiated presentations and minor illness
• Strong governance, clear referral routes and supportive MDT working
Key Responsibilities
• Undertake advanced assessment and clinical decision making for acute and routine presentations
• Formulate management plans including prescribing and referrals within scope
• Provide telephone and face-to-face consultations as required
• Request, interpret and act on investigations and results
• Use local pathways to escalate complex cases appropriately
• Maintain accurate documentation, coding and clear safety netting advice
• Collaborate with the wider team to support access, continuity and patient experience
Requirements
• Relevant professional registration and ACP-level qualification
• Recent UK primary care or urgent care experience in an ACP capacity
• Confident management of undifferentiated presentations and risk assessment
• Good working knowledge of clinical systems, documentation and governance
• Strong communication skills and ability to work autonomously within a team
• Ability to adapt to practice processes and contribute to safe patient flow
Working Pattern
• Temporary engagement
• Up to 2 days per week
• Flexible sessions available by agreement
• Clinic mix aligned to service need and your competencies
