Job Description

JobEgy are looking for Advanced Clinical Practitioners in Freshwater.

This opportunity offers flexible sessional work across various primary care services, providing options for nurses experienced in treatment room duties, chronic disease management and preventative health clinics.

Up to 2 days a week available with flexibility on how sessions are arranged.

A high-value role for ACPs who want well-scoped clinics and efficient workflows.

Role Snapshot
• ACP sessions focused on acute presentations and clinical assessment
• Opportunity to support long-term conditions depending on service needs
• Potential for repeat bookings if your availability remains consistent

Key Responsibilities
• Undertake advanced clinical assessments and formulate management plans
• Manage minor illness and complex presentations within agreed scope
• Request and interpret tests, and refer to secondary care where appropriate
• Prescribe where qualified and work to local prescribing and governance standards
• Provide patient education, safety-netting and follow-up arrangements
• Document accurately and contribute to MDT communication and continuity

Requirements
• Relevant professional registration and ACP qualification or equivalent pathway
• Recent UK primary care experience working at an advanced clinical level
• Independent Prescriber status where required for the clinical scope
• Ability to manage risk, recognise deterioration and escalate appropriately
• Knowledge of safeguarding and clinical governance requirements
• Compliance readiness including DBS, immunisations and references

Working Pattern
• Contract, locum, temporary or part-time options
• Up to 2 days per week with flexible session planning
• Opportunity to pick up extra sessions during peaks in demand
