Job Description

JobEgy are looking for Advanced Nurse Practitioners in Martha Terrace.

This opportunity offers flexible sessional work across various primary care services, providing options for nurses experienced in treatment room duties, chronic disease management and preventative health clinics.

Up to 3 days a week available with flexibility on sessions and start dates.

A pacey, well-supported primary care booking with real continuity potential.

Role Snapshot
• Locum ANP cover in a busy, well-organised GP setting
• Mix of same-day appointments and some planned long-term condition work
• Opportunity to repeat weekly sessions where it suits you

Key Responsibilities
• See and manage acute presentations and minor illness independently within scope
• Assess, diagnose, treat and safety-net patients, including appropriate referrals
• Prescribe where qualified and work within local prescribing guidelines
• Support triage processes and allocate patients to the right clinical pathway
• Complete accurate clinical documentation and code activity appropriately
• Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses and the wider MDT to maintain flow

Requirements
• NMC registration with relevant ANP qualification
• Independent Prescriber qualification where applicable to the role
• Recent UK primary care experience in an ANP capacity
• Confident management of minor illness and urgent on-the-day presentations
• Sound knowledge of safeguarding and clinical governance expectations
• Up to date compliance documentation and references

Working Pattern
• Locum, part-time, temporary or contract options
• Up to 3 days per week available with flexible session choice
• Repeat bookings available for clinicians who want consistency
