Job Description

JobEgy are looking for General Practitioners in Sutton-in-ashfield.

This opportunity offers flexible sessional work across various primary care services, providing options for nurses experienced in treatment room duties, chronic disease management and preventative health clinics.

Up to 4 days a week available with flexibility on session times and workload style.

A commercially attractive booking with consistent demand and clear support.

Role Snapshot
• Locum GP sessions with a mix of on-the-day and routine appointments
• Opportunity to focus on efficient consulting with sensible admin expectations
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver face-to-face and/or telephone consultations in line with service needs
• Assess, diagnose and manage a broad range of primary care presentations
• Prescribe safely and adhere to local formularies and referral pathways
• Complete clinical notes, coding and appropriate onward referrals
• Manage results, follow-ups and safety-netting within agreed session scope
• Work effectively with the MDT to maintain quality and patient flow

Requirements
• GMC registration with a licence to practise
• Completion of GP training and inclusion on the GP Register
• Recent UK primary care experience with confidence in autonomous practice
• Sound knowledge of safeguarding, QOF-aware practice and clinical governance
• Ability to use UK clinical systems with minimal support
• Up to date compliance including DBS, immunisations and references

Working Pattern
• Locum, temporary, contract or part-time options available
• Up to 4 days per week with flexible session planning
• Extra sessions may be available depending on demand
